Over the years our Parish of Martindale has developed and now as we approach our centenary, we envisaged to look beyond ourselves and complete our home with a Church Hall. These last year as we tried to raise funds, we realize how costly it is to rent a hall for our actives. We also realize that we need more room for our catechism program and for other activities that take place in our parish.

As this is a big project, we need to start now to raise funds for the project. We plan to place it above the back car park where we will have to build supporting structures so that we can fit the hall into the area envisaged.

We hope that the Hall will be used by our parish members and other people for family events: funerals, weddings, christenings, graduations etc. This will encourage our parish to be more apart and serve the community wholeheartedly.

We imagine that the hall will cost R2.5millon, a tall order but I know and trust the people of Martindale with their strength and energy they will achieve this task and we will have a new hall as part of our home to enjoy.
