At St Francis Xavier Martindale, the safety and well-being of children and vulnerable adults is our highest priority. We are committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment for all.
To create a safe and supportive environment, we have implemented comprehensive policies and procedures that guide our interactions with children and vulnerable adults. These include thorough screening and background checks for all volunteers and staff working with children, mandatory safeguarding training, a strict code of conduct for adult interactions with children, clear supervision guidelines, specific procedures for reporting any concerns, and all photography and social media policies to protect them! View our Safeguarding Policy for full details.

This formal Decree of Promulgation from Archbishop Buti Tlhagale signifies the paramount importance of child safeguarding within the Archdiocese of Johannesburg. This policy, now in effect, mandates adherence to safeguarding standards for the protection of all children.
In the heart of the Catholic Archdioceses of Johannesburg is it’s children, may all that take these steps and make a contact for any and all that needs help.
Our Annual Safeguarding is coming up, may the day not be taken without it to connect with all and share what our plans are and how all is set to reach a successful event, and there’s a time to engage and celebrate for this day so stay in reach!
Congratulations to what has lead to the most hard work as what we all had to do this all to show all are great with help!
